Add the Rehearsal marketplace, then install the plugin from it:

The plugin adds the Rehearsal skill and the Rehearsal MCP server. Claude Code starts the MCP server itself, with uvx. Install uv if you do not have it.

Run this in a terminal, once:

uvx --from rehearsal-kit rehearsal login

Add --url <address> for a server other than the default. Your browser opens the console. Check that the code matches your terminal, then choose Approve.

The plugin has two optional settings, which you can set in /config in place of rehearsal login:

Leave both empty to use the saved sign-in. When you set them, they take precedence over it.

1. Start Claude Code and run /mcp. The list shows a server named rehearsal.

2. Ask:

   Copy Text

   Show my Rehearsal workspace status.

   Claude calls workspace_status and reports your plan and what exists in the workspace.

If the tool answers that Rehearsal is not signed in, run the sign-in command above and ask again.

Evaluate my support agent on the published world for Gitea. Use the dev jobs and two repeats.
The instructions are in agent/instructions.txt.

Claude lists the worlds and the jobs, creates the agent profile, tells you the number of episodes and the cost, and waits for your yes. Then it starts the run and gives you a link to watch it.

Why did the failed episodes fail? Group the causes, and say which fix would help most.

Improve the agent from those failures, then compare both versions on holdout.

To add only the MCP server:

To add only the skill, which then uses the rehearsal command:

uvx --from rehearsal-kit rehearsal skill install

The skill is installed in ~/.claude/skills/rehearsal/.

To end the access as well, revoke the key on the console's API keys page, and remove the saved sign-in from the machine:
